The Gettysburg Station project aligns with the Central Adams Joint Comprehensive Plan.
 

In the relatively short amount of time since we introduced this project, we have made substantial changes to our initial design based on the guidance and feedback we have received from the community. The design incorporates the grand porch structure to reflect the borough’s history and character.

 

We have reduced the planned size and visibility of the buildings and allow for green space between the potential buildings and the railroad tracks. In addition, we have agreed to four specific conditions required by the Zoning Hearing Board in order for the project to receive a special exception regarding height limits.

We will:

• Incorporate the bike path

• Install an elevator in the garage

• Move the bus depot to Stratton Street at no cost to taxpayers

• Enhance the landscaping and add more greenspace
